Money Doesn’t Grow on Trees:This one-hour assembly presentation is an engaging way to get children thinking about real-world concepts related to money while connecting to history, math, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, speaking and drama. Volunteers from the audience participate in live lessons connected to everyday money idioms and positive character traits. Children have fun while learning about earning income, buying/providing goods and services, saving at various levels, using credit, and calculating interest earned or payable. Plus, adults receive resources to further extend the learning. This presentation is ideal for:
